Is there any competitive advantage to HyperLoc over other familiar bin locking claims?

Inherently HyperLoc is equivalent to the bin locking from Avid and EditShare in that it does not affect the bandwidth to the HyperFS, NX, or ZX mount point.  Avid and EditShare are of course only ethernet solutions so if you consider HyperFS on FC, iSCSI 40Gbit, or even 100Gbit there can be a throughput advantage to Genesis. HyperLoc has a definite advantage over Fuse type solutions that do affect the data throughput, in these cases HyperLoc can nicely outperform because it has nothing in the data path like a filter driver.
